Uno de los muchos proyectos inacabados y en proceso en los que ando metida es el de >Muses of Nature<. Tenía muchas ganas de hacer desnudos, había hecho algo de este tipo hace años, pero no llegó a mucho más.
Visualizaba en mi mente imágenes etéreas y difusas, en movimiento, borrosas, suaves; y que llegasen al espectador de forma directa y flexible. Algo muy delicado. Inspirándome en las musas curvilíneas de las esculturas y pinturas de los siglos XVI y XVII.

Sin duda cuando creas algo visual, sea ilustración, fotografía, escultura, cine... Inevitablemente te inspiras en todo lo que ha pasado por tus ojos durante toda tu vida. Un montón de conceptos propios e imágenes ya creadas que flotan por tu cerebro y que un día se unen para formar algo tuyo.


A continuación os muestro un poco lo que ha sido el proceso de inspiración y creación de las imágenes.

Las Musas y Diosas de Rubens, el estilo sfumato de Da Vinci, la atmósfera creada en los cuadros de los últimos siglos del renacimiento.

Melanie Delon es una ilustradora digital; sobretodo en sus primeras ilustraciones tiene un estilo también con sfumato muy característico.

Josephine Cardin, es una fotógrafa dominicana asentada en Boston que transmite una dulzura especial en sus retratos; sobretodo cabe destacar la serie de bailarinas en estudio. Pura inspiración <3 

Ya en el bosque:

Ultimamente aprovecho una misma sesión para la creación de diferentes conceptos. En este caso Tania le dio vida a una Chamana pre-romana; de esta parte de la sesión sale una fotografía, y un video que espero subir en una entrada posterior :). Pero ahora lo que nos atañe es Muses of Nature así que vamos con ello.

Para esta serie tuvimos que esperar a que el sol se ocultase del todo detrás de los árboles más altos. En Asturias los bosques suelen estar cuesta arriba y cuesta abajo :)

Realizamos tomas en diferentes poses siempre en el mismo lugar.

Espero actualizar con alguna foto de la misma serie.

One of the many unfinished projects and the process that I'm stuck is > Muses of Nature <. I really wanted to do nude, I had done something like this years ago, but got much more. 

Visualized in my mind images ethereal and diffuse, moving, blurry, soft; and they reached the viewer directly and flexibly. Something very delicate. Taking inspiration from the muses curvilinear sculptures and paintings of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. 

No doubt when you create something visual, whether illustration, photography, sculpture, film ... inevitably inspires you in all that has passed through your eyes all your life. A lot of concepts and images already created floating through your brain one day and come together to form something of yours. 

Then I show a little of what has been the process of inspiration and creation of images.

The Muses and Goddesses of Rubens, the sfumato style of Da Vinci, the atmosphere created in the tables of the last centuries of the Renaissance. 

Melanie Delon is a digital illustrator; especially in his first artwork has a very characteristic style also sfumato. 

Josephine Cardin, is a Dominican photographer based in Boston that transmits a special sweetness in his portraits; above include the number of dancers in studio. Pure inspiration <3 

Already in the forest: 

Lately I take one session to create different concepts. In this case Tania gave birth to a pre-Roman Chamana; this part of the session, a picture, and hope to upload a video in a later post :). But what concerns us now is Muses of Nature so we go with it. 

For this series we had to wait until the sun went down entirely behind the tallest trees. In Asturias forests usually uphill and downhill :) 

Conducted in different poses shots always in the same place.

En este blog podréis encontrar mis trabajos personales. Todo aquello que no encaja en el blog de Lau Cleo Studio. fotografía y video, y también fuentes de inspiración y making of.

Quiero comenzarlo con un proyecto reciente acabado. Es una serie de fotografías y un video.
Quiero agradecer desde aquí a Anabel su buen trabajo, y a Rafa por esa maravillosa composición musical para el video, que no sería lo mismo sin ella.

Ultimamente estoy escribiendo más que nunca, estoy preparando un proyecto más largo que espero que salga a la luz en algún momento; este trabajo es un pequeño fragmento de ese proyecto, ya que el texto del video proviene de él.

No ha habido unos bocetos físicos previos a la sesión. Unicamente imágenes cruzándose en mi cabeza, conceptos y olores. Una mujer perdida para los demás, pero muy centrada para ella misma, una historia corta, un fragmento de su vida, de sus encuentros mágicos en el bosque; lo que para otros es una loca, una persona demente; ella sabe muy bien que es real, el bosque es el lugar donde se siente a salvo, y comparte su vida con seres que existen y allí moran. O no... Lo dejo a la interpretación de cada uno. Lo que para un@s es locura para otr@s es visión.

La luz del atardecer en un bosque, asomándose entre las ramas es la base para la creación de este tema, el frío que comienza a aparecer después de un día cálido de primavera en el norte justo cuando el sol va desapareciendo y el vello de los brazos se pone de punta...

I want to start it with a recent project finished. It is a series of photographs and a video.
I want to thank from here to Anabel their good work, and Rafa for that wonderful musical composition for the video, it would not be the same without it.

Lately I'm writing more than ever, I am preparing a longer project that I hope will come to light at some point; This work is a small piece of this project, since the text of the video comes from it.

There has been some preliminary sketches to the session. Only images getting in my head, concepts and odors. A loss for the other woman, but very focused for herself, a short story, a fragment of his life, his magical encounters in the forest; what others are crazy, a crazy person; she knows very well that it is real, the forest is the place where you feel safe, to share your life with beings that exist and dwell there. Or not ... I leave it to the interpretation of each.
